Our Extension Specialists work closely with county agents in all 33 counties to deliver information and technology that make New Mexico's diverse agriculture profitable and environmentally sound. Extension Specialists work with all of our state's major commodities, such as alfalfa and chile pepper, while providing leadership in the areas of IPM, sustainable agriculture, plant pathology, weed science, horticulture, turf management, forest health management, and water quality and waste management.
